“I’ve always explored every treatment . . . what’s been most helpful for me is Rolfing.”
Bessel van der Kolk, author of “The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma.”
Welcome to Compassionate Rolfing
I offer trauma-informed modalities that provide a means to help you move through pain, trauma, and injury and facilitate feeling at ease in your body.
At Compassionate Rolfing
My practice is client-centered. I always make sure you are comfortable with the work I am offering. You may remain fully clothed during your session, as I can work through most clothing. I have an adjustable electric Rolfing table that is padded and can be warmed up. If you need any accommodations, please contact me.

Welcome
My practice is client-centered. I specialize in educating people on how to shift their nervous system states from the powerful survival responses of Flight, Fight, Fawn, and Freeze to the equally powerful restoration states of Rest, Restore, and Relate.

Many of the people who come to my practice are overwhelmed with intense symptoms that severely compromise their lives. Some have already been on heroic medical journeys yet have found little lasting relief.

The modalities in which I have trained all specialize in accessing and cultivating the relational embodied state of regulation. Being regulated allows the body to heal and the mind to perceive accurately and access a sense of safety, connection, and agency. Self-regulation is the basis for resilience.
Rolfing Structural Integration was developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf. It is a hands-on therapy that works with a person's whole body and field of experience to release restrictive patterns in the connective tissue. These restrictions are the result of injuries, repetitive motions, traumas, and habitual holding patterns that are often intergenerational and cultural in their origin. Releasing these restrictions allows for embodiment, better function, and a sense of ease.
Certified Advanced Rolfing
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a non-invasive modality from the osteopathic tradition in which the practitioner applies gentle receptive touch to evoke the client’s innate healing capacities. There are many lineages and styles of BCST. I trained in the lineage offered by Rolfing Instructors at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute.

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) was developed by neurologist Dr. Stephen Porges to improve state regulation, social engagement, and attunement. The SSP helps people assess safety accurately and orient toward the human voice to co-regulate with others by listening to a series of sessions of filtered music. I am a certified SSP provider and offer the SSP in person and remotely.
The Safe and Sound Protocol
Developed by Advanced Rolfer and architect Bob Schrei, SourcePoint Therapy is a non-invasive energetic modality that uses the principles of sacred geometry to connect our bodies to the inherent “Blueprint” of health. SourcePoint Therapy works with specific points around and on the body to access and address energetic blockages and may be done entirely without contact. SourcePoint Therapy may also be done remotely.

Meditation is the process of maintaining awareness and not disassociating. Somatic meditation is a specific meditation technique used in many Buddhist lineages and traditions that shows people how to maintain their presence of mind even when they are experiencing distress. I offer personalized meditation instruction and group classes to anyone who is interested in adding meditation in their healing.
