Low Dose Propranolol for reducing nervous system activation/ triggers:
Used in low doses of 20 or 40 mg rather than over 100 mg for high blood pressure treatment, it can calm the autonomic nervous system in about 20 min. You will need a prescription from your physician, but doctors are becoming more aware of its other uses and prescribing it for PTSD and anxiety.
